Precision Fitness Client of the Month:
Beverly Williams
In September 2013, my personal trainer at that time decided to make a career change, so I had to begin searching for a new trainer. In searching the web for personal trainers in Northwest Arkansas I found the website for Precision Fitness. After some research on the gym, I joined Precision Fitness in November 2013. At that time I was having pain and immobility issues with my right scapula. Dustin worked with me trying to correct these issues but I finally had to have physical therapy. I did not miss my four weekly training sessions during this time because Dustin was very careful about the exercises that I was allowed to perform. Once physical therapy was completed and I was healed, I was then able to complete the training sessions without modifications. In the past I was trained with the normal weight-lifting exercises so this was a big change for me by using your own body weight, resistance bands and kettlebells.
When I joined Precision Fitness, my goal was to continue with bodybuilding and clean up my eating. In March 2014 I signed up for the 21 day Detox Challenge that Dustin offered. I did not plan to lose weight (since I was not overweight) but ended up losing 9 lbs. 6 ounces – which I have not put back on. I have also participated in other meal/weight loss programs that he offers throughout the year. I highly recommend these programs. I discovered that I feel better and perform better when I’m eating clean. Currently I’m starting the contest prep program hoping to participate in a Figure Bodybuilding competition in the future. I look forward to working with Dustin to accomplish this goal.
Exercising has been an important part of my life since 1988. I coordinate appointments or other activities around my training sessions. I have a stressful job and I have found that exercising and eating clean helps me keep stress to a minimum.
I have had other personal trainers in the past but have found that Dustin is one of the best. He makes sure that my form is correct so that I get the full benefit of the exercise and not cause injury. I’m also impressed that Dustin attends training and seminars to enhance his knowledge and then incorporates them into the workouts.
